The Mini Ghost came from working with Koa Smith on a short, fun version of his favourite board. Koa loves riding very short boards on small North Shore days, so we compressed his 5'9" Ghost into a 5'5" and added the volume it needed to stay stable and paddle well.

A flatter deck, boxier rails and a modern beak nose put more foam under the chest and all the way to the nose, and the rocker was adjusted for small waves. Choose a round tail or a wider squash tail with a hip for even more fun in weak surf. Think of it as an 80s board with a modern performance twist: ride it 3 to 4 inches shorter than your usual board at a similar volume.
