The 2026 Jack's Pro just wrapped up its annual run through the top up-and-coming surfers in the region. Like every year, the event delivered the full mix - shifting wave conditions, breakout performances, and a few upsets nobody saw coming. We were absolutely fired up to watch our California team rider Parker Cohn move through each round with precise execution and zero unnecessary noise, taking the win at the 2026 Jack's Pro on his 5'7" Ghost Squash.

"I'd call that epoxy Ghost Squash one of the most exciting shortboards I've ever ridden. It feels like it's responding to every body movement, which lets you be spontaneous and precise even in tight little unpredictable waves. Can't wait to feel one in some real waves."
- Parker Cohn

Parker's winning board
Ghost Squash - 5'7" x 18 5/8" x 2 3/8" - 25.8 Liters
The Ghost Squash is the more forgiving cousin in the Ghost family. The added foam under the chest gets you into smaller, weaker waves earlier than a traditional Ghost will, while the squash tail keeps the release punchy and the board lively in the pocket. In an epoxy build like Parker's, you get the added sensitivity and pop that epoxy is known for - exactly what you want when waves are inconsistent and you need the board to react fast.

The Ghost Squash is part of the Pyzel high-performance range and is stocked in our European warehouse. If you want a board that performs in everyday conditions but still has the speed and reactivity to win contests, this is one to look at.
Congrats Parker. Onto the next one.
