Radius Prime 5’11 X 18 7/8 X 2 3/8 - 27,5L - Squash Tail - Futures Tri Fin

Fast, loose, and highly responsive, the Radius Prime is a refined evolution of the Radius - our high-performance shortboard design widely favored by our international team and selected by Jordy Smith as his winning board for Stab in the Dark.

The intention behind the Radius Prime is to introduce a fresh feel while preserving the core characteristics that made the original model so popular among surfers. Built for quality surf, it features a continuous medium-to-high bottom rocker that supports smooth, controlled turning, paired with a single concave that enhances lift and forward drive. A slightly increased tail rocker tightens the turning radius and improves release in critical sections of the wave, while the subtle hip in the outline maintains a lively, free-flowing feel. The wider nose adds additional drive and improves overall flow down the line.

The Radius Prime performs exceptionally well in punchy beach breaks, well-formed point waves, and a wide range of reef breaks globally. Like its predecessor, it excels in waves with defined shape and curvature, allowing confident performance in overhead-plus conditions.

This model represents state-of-the-art high-performance surfing and is designed for surfers looking to progress their level. Stock dimensions include a slight increase in foam volume for added paddle power and stability. For those seeking an extra step up in control and performance, the roundtail version offers an excellent slight step up option.
